Is the area within 5 ft of the home free of combustibles?

Are gutters and roof valleys clear of leaves and debris?

Are all attic, eave, and crawlspace vents covered with 1/8" metal mesh?

Is the space under decks and stairs clear of debris?

Is there at least 10 ft of horizontal space between tree canopies?

Are branches trimmed back 10 ft from the chimney and roof?

Is lawn grass kept under 4 inches and dead vegetation removed?

Are firewood, lumber, and propane stored at least 30 ft from the home?

Have all 'ladder fuels' (under 6 ft) been removed?

Are dead trees, fallen limbs, and brush piles removed from the property?

In the extended zone, is canopy spacing at least 20 ft?

Is the access road 12 ft wide with 14 ft of vertical clearance?

Is your address visible, reflective, and at least 4 inches tall?

Is an independent emergency water source accessible?
